The Light Way™ FAQ

Why start a religion or a cult?
Why not? I have unique values and beliefs that are credible and fantastic. Hard and cold yet believable and true. Perhaps for the money that’s sure to flow. I would certainly have me in mind. After all it’s my religion.

Are all religions created equal?
Why not? They all came from the same source. Each has a valid point of view that allows a member to be one with everything. They all work for someone.

However many of the worlds religions speak about ancient archetypes with metaphors that are difficult to realize with a modern consciousness. It not that we have out grown God, rather our point of view has shifted. Modern religions have resulted through change and adaptation from older time versions. We all know there is more to life than what we perceive and religion's ability to describe and reveal those things is why they exist.

All our archetypes need to be addressed. These gods within us that control and manipulate our perceptions are and should be the focus of any religion. It is difficult to imagine how religions based on ancient metaphors can address the archetypes of today'’ world. Satisfaction and relevance fade, disillusionment and questions grow.

A religion without a live prophet is a dead religion.

What’s in it for the members?
Fresh ideas and perspectives, drawn from science, touched with a bit of mysticism. A new point of view, a way to describe self/soul/consciousness, a deeper appreciation for existence and its realities and how to change it.

Are there downsides/consequences?
Of course, as there are with any belief system. Realization of certain truths can devastate previous views and perspectives. This can/will hurt but it passes as one progress through the change in perspective caused by a new point of view (belief). The rebirth of self can be both exciting and challenging.

Describe rebirth
Rebirth causes one to begin an incredible journey through space and time. Propelled by the energy of being self. Fully engaged in the process with new found faith, the ability to surrender ones self, to become consumed by the spirit of that belief (point of view). Some (most) religions refer to this as being one with God, living in paradise, being eternal.

What does someone have to do to become a member of your religion?
Joining a religion requires commitment and discipline. Membership requires personal contribution and involvement. Each of these four items is managed in different ways.

For example in a Christian religion:

Commitment is something like baptism or accepting Jesus as your savior.
Discipline is going to church service, reading the bible.
Contribution is tithing, doing service to others.
Involvement is sharing your belief (point of view) with others and building the religion through membership. Developing a congregation.

This formula works as well do the formulas of other religions and belief systems. My religion has a similar formula.

Commitment is choosing self as the way and joining my religion.
Discipline is constant exploration of self
Contribution is tithing, doing service to others.
Involvement is sharing your belief (point of view) with others and building the religion through membership. Developing a congregation.

How does one join?
By sending me the membership tithe of $12.

Members can also join by selecting to purchase the CD for $30, which includes the $12 membership. Members may buy the CD at any time for $25.

What do new members receive for joining?
All members receive a monthly newsletter of interest, a certificate of membership, and their names entered into the book of life, plus an opportunity to chat with me and others online at least once a week.

Can anyone join?
No. Only those who are willing. In order to surrender one must have a will.

How will I know when I am saved or whatever it is that your religion does?
Like most religions you’ll have to be told you’re saved. However unlike most religions you will realize the state of your salvation immediately.

What exactly is salvation?
Realization of sense of self. The ability to participate fully in existence.

Is there a heaven or paradise or hell?
Of course but those will pass and evaporate when the energy that sustains them fades.

Is there a God?
I guess that depends upon the meaning of the term God. My religion holds that there exists a potential for permanence and persistence. That all humans and ordinary things are transcendent. And that everything is made of the same stuff including ideas and thoughts. That would be God in my religion.

Is there a purpose?
This question is the very reason religions exist. To describe a purpose for life and existence.

What is your religion called?
The Light Way:
The Church of Light Thinking, The Church of Light Waiting, and The Church of Light Space

Where are the churches located and what are they for?
The churches are storage places, archives of experience and information about this reality. Full of metaphors and possibilities, these places attract the consciousness like moths to a flame. Unless one is prepared properly, the potential for pain and hurt is very high. These churches are only accessible with a key. They are not open to everyone nor are they a safe place for everyone. For within them are both wonder and horror and with new experiences constantly being added the unprepared can become buried inside. Yet when properly prepared, the churches provide a solitude, a serenity, a place without fear or horror, rather, a paradise of ones own making. Ways of finding these churches and how to best use them is what my religion teaches.

Why haven’t others found these churches?
Others have found them, many times over, some even live within their hallowed walls. A common source leads us all to the same places. We find our moments of time scattered about in various experiences, occurrences, and events never realizing the sense of self that religions, science, mysticism, and dogma speak of. Those who have found the churches have ‘pointed to the door’ which is not the Light Way. My religion shows you how to shut the door on those who would enter the church without proper preparations. You will become the temple guards, those who know that only the chosen, those with a certificate of preparation are allowed into the churches of Light. Protecting the innocent, those who still dream, those asleep in some sentient form who happen upon these churches.

Are there Sacraments and Rituals?
Yes, to effectively reach and touch the archetypes that promote and generate our perceptions, certain mental and physical states much be achieved. Rituals allow the form to relax and resonate with the energetic fields that will be changed. The sacrament, the sacrifice delivered by chalice, by platen, by knife, by sword. Whichever it is that the archetype must receive at/by the hands of self.

Why not get a normal job like everyone else?
I have tried but can not seem to find a suitable one yet. I am still looking.
